Cracking a smile...

Today I was at the Op=Op voordeelshop, to have a look at the La Femme
Beautypolishes. There were a lot of them, and they're cheap. €1,99 each, and
3 for€5,-. I've bought the Mirage, Orange
Cream, Ultra
Blue and the White Crackle polish. This review will be on the White Crackle.

I have two other crackle polishes, and they're professional salon polishes (got them for my birthday). I was really curious about this one, and I didn't expect it to be as good as the other ones. Well, it defenitely wasn't. I have the Ultra Blue under the crackle.

I actually have two layers on. It was really thick, so it doesn't apply really easy. I don't really like the way it has cracked, too long stripes. I like small rectangles better. Already a few bits have come of, and I did apply a top coat. I wouldn't recommend this polish to other people, I think you better spend a little more in a better cracking polish.

Mirage or real?

This is actually a really simple blue glitter polish. It is best to wear over another polish, like I did here. The one I wear under the Mirage is Ultra Blue.

I only have one layer on, though it's quite a thick layer. It has a lot of glitter in it, more than my average glitter polish. I really hate taking of glitter polish, it is usually a lot of work, but this one was fairly easy to remove. Still I prefer a shimmering polish for glitter nails, but this one is much easier to remove than other glitters.

Sweet 'n Creamy Orange

I think it's a lovely polish, defenitely suitable for Queen's day, or any happy spring day.

It covers quite okay, but you can still see my tip when I have two layers on.

In real it is even brighter than on the picture, and it is really creamy. Compared to other La Femme Beauty polishes it is really good, and I will wear this on Queen's day, rather than my Miss Sporty Orange.

Ultra deception?

There are several Ultra polishes from La Femme Beauty, and they're supposed to be neon, and very bright. But this Ultra Blue is closer to a pastel, than to a neon. On this picture I am wearing two layers.

As you can see it's a shiny light blue polish, that is definitely not bright. It covers well, though you need two layers to make it look nice. I've only had the polish on for half a day now, so I don't know if it will last long. I will write it down here if I know. In short, it is a nice polish but its name doesn't suit it.

My First Nail Polish Blog (Introduction)

Welcome to my all new nail polish blog!
I am a Dutch girl, who is pretty much addicted to nail polish. I started my collection in the summer of 2010, and I started doing nail art two months ago. Currently I have snowflakes on my thumb, and a silver/white candy cane-ish design on my other fingers. I am a huge fan of cutopolish' nail art tutorials on youtube.
I've been thinking about starting a nail art tutorial youtube channel, but I don't have a very good video camera, and I don't have a lot of time.
This blog will contain new nail polishes, and my designs. I will post a new blog everyweek, but when I am really busy with school, I might have to skip a week.
Also I want my blog to be perfect, so if you see any grammar, spelling, factual or whatever mistake, please tell me!
The next post will probably be about my New Years Eve design, if I don't buy any new polishes in the meanwhile.
