Rimmel London I Love Fruities Lemon Drop

So, here I am again, back with another review. This time it is Lemon Drop by Rimmel London, from the I Love Fruities collection. It is a pastel yellow, perfect for the summer and spring. It is a cream colour, and it doesn't have any glitters or sparkles. I bought it for 4,99 Euros at the Kruidvat.

 Here you see the polish on my hand. I'm wearing 3 coats. You definitely need those because it is a really stripy polish, and it doesn't cover really well. After three coats, my pinky still wasn't perfect, and you could see some imperfections on my other fingers. On the bottle it says that the polish smells like lemons when it's dry. This is really true, and I absolutely love that! Unfortunately, you don't really smell it anymore after 1 or 2 days.

So, this is a really nice colour, but this polish doesn't cover well, and it is really stripy. You need three coats for a good result. 

Essence Nude Glam Candy Cotton.

Yesterday I bought the Essence Nude Glam Candy Cotton at the Kruidvat, for only €1,29. The Nude Glam collection is new, and replaces the French Nude collection. I saw this polish when I was looking around on the site, and I really loved it. I didn't have such colour yet. So I went to my local Kruidvat, and bought it!

And actyally, I'm a bit dissapointed. On the picture I'm wearing 3 layers, and maybe you can't see it very well, but it still doesn't completely cover my nails, and it has a lot of stripes. The picture is of my left hand, the right hand looks worse. When I look at my nails now, I can still see my tips really well. However, it's a nice brush, and the polish applies really nice. One point, there was a long hair in the brush, about 7 mm longer than the rest of the brush. But I cut it of, and now it works perfectly fine. In the bottle the polish looks pink, but it's more white on the nails.

So, I'm not really impressed with this polish. I wouldn't recommand it.

I haven't posted anything in a really long time, because I didn't have time, and the camera wasn't suitable for the articles I wanted to write.
But now I've decided I'll only be posting reviews. This is because our camera can't zoom in, and the lens doesn't allow me to take close pictures. And you really need good pictures for nail art.
I will upload a review, on the essence candy cotton nude glam polish, from their new collection, in an hour!

Sorry! - Update

I'm sorry I just keep writing updates, instead of really interesting nail polish stuff.
I promised to have a new tutorial posted last Saturday. Unluckily, I got sick. I am better now, but now I'm busy with school again. I will post a new article as soon as possible, and that might be this weekend.

Cracking a smile...

Today I was at the Op=Op voordeelshop, to have a look at the La Femme
Beautypolishes. There were a lot of them, and they're cheap. €1,99 each, and
3 for€5,-. I've bought the Mirage, Orange
Cream, Ultra
Blue and the White Crackle polish. This review will be on the White Crackle.

I have two other crackle polishes, and they're professional salon polishes (got them for my birthday). I was really curious about this one, and I didn't expect it to be as good as the other ones. Well, it defenitely wasn't. I have the Ultra Blue under the crackle.

I actually have two layers on. It was really thick, so it doesn't apply really easy. I don't really like the way it has cracked, too long stripes. I like small rectangles better. Already a few bits have come of, and I did apply a top coat. I wouldn't recommend this polish to other people, I think you better spend a little more in a better cracking polish.

Mirage or real?

This is actually a really simple blue glitter polish. It is best to wear over another polish, like I did here. The one I wear under the Mirage is Ultra Blue.

I only have one layer on, though it's quite a thick layer. It has a lot of glitter in it, more than my average glitter polish. I really hate taking of glitter polish, it is usually a lot of work, but this one was fairly easy to remove. Still I prefer a shimmering polish for glitter nails, but this one is much easier to remove than other glitters.
